BIOGRAPHIE
Gingers music is a fine blend of funky rhythms, rocky riffs and wailing guitars. The young fourpiece heading from Zurich, Switzerland, is influenced by the free floating and experimental music of the late sixties and the early seventies. A typical Ginger concert combines well structured songs and lose psychedelic jams. Playing the same set twice does not exist in their musical world. Jamming live on stage is an essential element of their music – often without knowing where they finally will end up.
Having grown up rather with the their parents´ LP collections than with MTV, our four time travellers reproduce those influences in the 21st century. The musician’s authentic stage appearance and their honest handmade sound promise taking you on a ride through time and space.

Burg Herzberg Festival was fantastic!
We want to thank everyone that came out for seeing us and grabbing a copy of our new album, all the other good bands for the inspiration and all the freaks and hippies to spread the good athmosphere.
In our Gallery you can see a couple snapshots from our 7 sets throughout those 4 days. We even uploaded the audio files to the two sets we played on saturday. They are available here for free download!

Ginger is happy and proud to announce that we were officially added to this years lineup at legendary Burg Herzberg Festival. We will play a set on the freakstage and for all those who haven´t got enough after that: you will even find us jamming at the beer tent.
Another premiere will be our appearance at Festicheyres in Neuchâtel on July 10th - it will be our first show in the Romandie, the french speaking part of Switzerland!
